1. INTRODUCTION

WorkNest (the “App”) is an offline freelance project and workspace management application provided by DetailingHQ Lexington, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information that you enter while managing your freelance work, projects, clients, tasks, payments, and expenses.

2. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

Depending on the features you use, you may enter information such as:

• Your display name and optional profile contact information.
• Client names, contact details, and notes.
• Project names, descriptions, deadlines, budgets, and statuses.
• Task descriptions, progress, priorities, and due dates.
• Payment entries, expense amounts, and related financial notes.
• Application preferences, such as display or currency settings.

You choose what information to enter. Please avoid storing sensitive information that is unnecessary for managing your work.

3. HOW INFORMATION IS USED

The App processes the information you provide to operate its features on your device. This includes organizing client and project records, tracking tasks and deadlines, recording payments and expenses, and showing dashboards, progress indicators, and reports.

4. LOCAL STORAGE AND OFFLINE FUNCTIONALITY

WorkNest is designed to work without an internet connection or account registration. Information you enter is stored locally within the Android application's private storage and preferences. The reviewed version does not require an internet permission and does not use a developer-operated cloud synchronization service.

5. ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING, AND TRACKING

The reviewed version of WorkNest does not include advertising or analytics SDKs and does not automatically transmit your workspace records to the developer. It does not require an account, and its core features operate offline.

6. LOCAL BACKUP AND RESTORE

WorkNest offers a user-initiated local backup and restore feature. If you choose to export a backup, the App writes a backup file to the document location you select through Android's file picker. If you restore a backup, the App reads the file you select and imports compatible records and settings into the App.

Backups may contain personal or business information you entered. You are responsible for protecting your backup files and choosing where to save or share them. If you select a location managed by a separate storage provider, that provider's privacy practices may apply. WorkNest does not automatically send backup files to the developer.

7. DATA SHARING AND SUPPORT EMAILS

WorkNest does not automatically share client, project, task, payment, or expense records with the developer or advertisers. If you select the Contact Support option, the App can open an email application addressed to our support mailbox. Only information you choose to send in that email will be received by us; your email provider may independently process the message under its own privacy policy. Please do not send passwords or confidential client records in support requests.

8. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

App records remain stored locally until you edit or delete them, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Clearing App data or uninstalling it may permanently delete the locally stored information. Any backup files you saved separately may remain at their selected locations until you delete them there. We cannot remotely access or remove files stored only on your device or in storage services you choose.

9. DATA SECURITY

Android's application storage protections help isolate WorkNest's local data from other applications. We recommend keeping your device protected with a screen lock and storing backup files securely. No storage system is completely risk-free, and you are responsible for securing files that you export or share.

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

WorkNest is intended as a general work and productivity tool, not as a service specifically directed to children under 13. The App does not knowingly request children's personal information for online collection. If you have a concern relating to children's information, please contact us using the email below.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App's core functions do not depend on third-party online services. When you use an external email application or choose an external storage location for an exported backup, those independent services may handle the information you provide according to their own terms and privacy policies.

12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. An updated version will show a revised effective date. Please review the policy when updating the App.
